WHERE ARE SOCIAL DISORDER ISSUES MOST COMMONLY PERCEIVED?

Social disorder issues are most commonly experienced in residential areas, followed by in or around shopping centres.

Of those persons who stated they had personally seen or experienced one or more moderate or large social disorder issues, 89.9% stated that at least one issue occurred in a residential area. The next most common location was in or around shopping centres, with half of all respondents perceiving at least one moderate or large social disorder issue having personally seen or experienced it in or around a shopping centre (50.0%).

After residential areas, public drunkenness and people using or dealing drugs were most frequently seen or experienced outside or near pubs, clubs, and nightclubs (54.7% and 35.2% of respondents who reported these issues to be moderate or large problems, respectively).
