UNLAWFUL ENTRY WITH INTENT There was a 5.0% decrease in the number of victims of unlawful entry with intent in Australia, from 214,241 in 2012 to a four year low of 203,438 in 2013. In Australia: § The most common location for unlawful entry with intent to occur was a residential location (71% or 144,939 victims); § Nearly seven in ten victims of unlawful entry with intent had property taken (69% or 140,314 victims); and § 10% of all unlawful entry with intent investigations (21,066 victims) were finalised by police within 30 days.
