In Queensland, 'adult' refers to persons aged 17 years and over. Prior to 2006, in Victoria persons aged 17 years and over were also referred to as 'adult'. (b) Rates are age standardised to the Estimated Resident Population (ERP) at 30 June 2001. Rates are per 100,000 adult population.
