To ensure that users understand the extent of diversity of SA1s within a larger area, SA1 distributions are provided for larger geographies. For each larger area, the number of SA1s in each decile has been reported. If an area has a high level of diversity, then there will be a fairly even spread of the SA1s between the 10 deciles. An area with a low level of diversity will have most of the SA1s falling within a small range of deciles. Below is an example of the SA1 Distribution data cubes.
