This is a subjective assessment made by the ABS that overlays areas of the conceptual framework with the nature and breadth of information collected in each data source. It is intended to assist readers to quickly assess whether further investigation of the data source is warranted given their particular purpose and research questions. It is not an indication of data quality and does not represent ABS endorsement of a data collection. It is important that readers also consider information contained within each data source entry about the methodology and public availability of data to make a more full assessment of whether a data source is fit for their purpose.
