FREQUENCY OF PARTICIPATION

The frequency of participation by children in up to three sports has been collected in each CPCLA survey. The frequency of participation by children in the following sports is therefore based on that sport being one of the three main sports that the child participated in during the twelve months prior to interview.

Compared with 2003, the only significant difference in frequency of participation was for outdoor soccer with 20% having participated 53 times or more in 2012 compared with 24% in 2003.
