Age Age is defined as the measure of time elapsed from date of live birth to a specific point in time (e.g. date of a particular survey or collection), measured in complete years. Baby boomers Baby boomers refers to all Australian residents born in the years 1946 to 1965 inclusive when the Australian total fertility rate was 3 or more babies per women. It includes persons born overseas who have since migrated to Australia. Neonatal Neonatal is defined as pertaining to a newborn child (Macquarie Dictionary, 1991). Perinatal Perinatal is defined as pertaining to the period closest to the time of birth (Macquarie Dictionary, 1991).
