The Information Paper: Using the Australian Standard Geographical Classification (ASGC) Remoteness Structure to Analyse Characteristics of Wage and Salary Earners of Australia, 1998-99 (cat. no. 5679.0), is expected to be released in February 2003. It will incorporate the use of the ASGC Remoteness Structure with the aim of contributing to studies of income distribution in regional and remote areas. This will complement the previously released publication Experimental Estimates, Regional Wage and Salary Earner Statistics, Australia, 1995-96 to 1998-99 (cat. no. 5673.0).
