The purpose of the IDP is to develop an agreed plan for a national agricultural statistics system that meets the information needs of key stakeholders. This will require extensive consultation and gathering of intelligence from stakeholders. To begin this process, the ABS has prepared a preliminary version of an Agriculture IDP for discussion with stakeholders during May/June 2003.
