An information session presenting results from the 1998 Disability Ageing and Carers Survey will be held in late June. Summary findings from the survey were released in April (Cat no. 4430.0). NSW summary table sets (Cat no. 4430.1.40.001) are also available. These publications include both national and state statistics on the population, living arrangements, education and labour force participation of people with disabilities and those aged over 65 years. Social participation, carer information and the need for assistance are also described. Please contact us for more information.
