This new publication provides statistics on tonnes and tonnes-kilometres of freight moved within Australia between selected Statistical Divisions. This information is cross-classified by the mode of transport (rail, sea, air and selected road), the broad commodity grouping (based on the Australian Transport Freight Commodity Classification) and the type of freight (liquid bulk, solid bulk, containerised, dangerous and refrigerated).
