GENERAL SOCIAL SURVEY
General Social Survey, Australia, 2002 (cat.no. 4159.0) is due for release in May 2003. The General Social Survey (GSS) is the first of its type conducted by the ABS. Rather than concentrating in detail on a particular area of social concern, the GSS publication provides a wide range of social information about individuals, making it possible to explore linkages between areas of social concern. Topics include: health; housing; education; work; income; financial stress; assets and liabilities; family and community; transport; and crime. For more information contact Graeme Groves on
