SOCIO-ECONOMIC INDEXES FOR AREAS, 2001
The Census of Population and Housing: Socio-Economic Indexes for Areas (SEIFA), 2001 was released in November, 2003. The product provides information and rankings to facilitate assessment of the welfare of Australian communities. A wide range of geographic areas can be derived, the smallest being Collection Districts. SEIFA 2001 is available as a 'standalone' package in which index values can be calculated and exported to spreadsheets or other packages, and is also available as an 'Add-On' module for CDATA 2001, making use of CDATA's table, map and graph creation capabilities.
