2006 CENSUS OUTPUT STRATEGY
The information paper 2006 Census of Population and Housing, ABS Views on Census Output Strategy (cat. no. 2009.0) was released in October, 2004. The paper describes a strategy for providing census products and services to business, community and other users of census data. Proposals include a comprehensive internet based release strategy to disseminate census data, in addition to modifications to the previous 2001 Census output strategy, which are designed to make use of emerging technology.
