Household Use of Information Technology, Australia, 2001–02 (cat. no. 8146.0) was released in September 2003. During the period from 2001 to 2002, Internet use rose 4% points to 58% of adults, for both NSW and Australia. In the same period, Australians more than doubled the amount they spent on Internet shopping, spending more than $4 billion in 2002.
