DIVORCE IN AUSTRALIA
Divorces, Australia 2002 (cat. no. 3307.0.55.001) has just been released. This electronic product presents national and state level data on registered divorces. Data is presented by age, duration of marriage at final separation and at date of dissolution, country of birth of divorcees and number of children in families. Detailed state data and other data items are available on request. Up-to-date status reports on the compilation and dissemination of divorce statistics can be found on the ABS website by selecting Themes, Demography and then Marriages and Divorces.
