GENERAL SOCIAL SURVEY
General Social Survey: Summary Results, Australia, 2002 (cat. no. 4159.0.55.001) will be released on 18 December 2003. A new survey, The General Social Survey (GSS) brings together information across areas of social concern, to provide insight into the relationships between various social and economic characteristics. Topics include: health; housing; education; work; income; financial stress; broad assets and liabilities; transport; family and community; and crime. NSW versions of tables presented in the publication will become available in January 2004, and a GSS Users' Guide (cat. no. 4159.0.55.002) will become available in February 2004.
