NOTES The estimates in this publication are based on the Australian and New Zealand Standard Industrial Classification (ANZSIC), 2006 edition (cat. no. 1292.0). Estimates are available by ANZSIC Division, Subdivision, and also at Class level for selected items only. Key measures include employment, labour costs, income, expenses, profitability and industry value added. Summary data are also presented by business size and at the state and territories level. CHANGES IN THIS RELEASE The scope of this release has changed to exclude non-employing businesses whose turnover, in aggregate, is below the bottom 2.5 percentile of BAS sales for that ANZSIC Subdivision. Previous iterations of the survey had included micro non-employers. For further information on estimation methodology for this survey please see Technical Note: Estimation Methodology. This is the first release of Retail and Wholesale Industries (cat.no. 8622.0) that does not include a Portable Document Format (PDF) component. All published data can be found within the attached data cubes under the Downloads tab above. See the separate sections below for more details about data cubes. RETAIL AND WHOLESALE INDUSTRY BY SUBDIVISION DATA CUBES Tables contain key data at Subdivision level for the Retail and Wholesale Industries.
