EMPLOYED PERSONS BY INDUSTRY EMPLOYED PERSONS(a), By Industry (ANZSIC06), Melbourne MSR and Balance of Victoria MSR - August Quarter 2008 In Victoria, the Construction and Mining industries had the highest proportions of total males employed (89.6% and 79.4% respectively), while the highest proportions of total females employed were in the Health Care and Social Assistance, and Education and Training industries (80.6% and 68.5% respectively). In terms of full-time employment, the Construction industry accounted for the highest proportion of males employed in Victoria (94.6%), and the Health Care and Social Assistance industry accounted for the highest proportion of full-time females employed (72.8%). The largest proportion of part-time workers who were male was in the Transport, Postal and Warehousing industry (57.3%), and Health Care and Social Assistance employed the largest proportion of part-time females (90.3%).
