In Tasmania in 2002-03, there were 3,551 claims lodged at the Motor Accidents Insurance Board (MAIB). Some 3,193 (89.9%) were for head, leg, arm, neck, trunk or psychological injuries. Of these, injuries of the neck accounted for the largest number of claims, 1,318 (37.1% of total claims). MAIB CLAIMS, Tasmanian Regions(a)(b) - 2002-03
