National Report on Schooling in Australia
Scope The ANR is a compilation of data provided by state and federal education agencies, both through the finance and non-finance National Schools Statistics Collections, and from specialist work commissioned or delivered by MCEETYA itself. Reference Period Annual publication. Frequency of Collection Not applicable. Method of collection The ANR collates data provided by the finance and non-finance NSSC agencies, the MCEETYA Secretariat, and other providers. The other sources include NCVER vocational education data, and ABS social surveys. DISSEMINATION Release schedule Reports are published on the website progressively. The intention is to publish the complete ANR by August or September of the year following the reference year. Publications All issues of the ANR from 2000 on are available online from the ANR homepage of the MCEETYA website, http://www.mceetya.edu.au/mceetya/. Some printed and bound copies are provided to key education stakeholders, and to federal and state ministers of education. Geography Data are available for Australia, the states and mainland territories, and some sub-state characteristics for selected items. Data Service The ANR and other data are available on the MCEETYA website, http://www.mceetya.edu.au/mceetya/. Other information As well as the ANR, MCEETYA publishes a large number of other reports on school related issues and specific school education research.
