Report on Government Services The annual Report on Government Services (ROGS) is produced by the Steering Committee for the Review of Government Service Provision. It details an agreed set of performance indicators and data for these indicators, for each jurisdiction (where possible). These indicators assist governments to assess the performance of the services provided in their jurisdiction. The ROGS draws statistical data together to provide information, through key indicators, on the performance of specified government agencies and programs in delivering services to the Australian people. The report is used for strategic budget and policy planning and evaluation. The six broad service areas covered by the ROGS are:
The Education section contains a substantial Preface, plus a chapter each for school education, and for vocational education and training. Besides the chapter content and supporting tables, further education data are provided in the Statistical Appendix to the ROGS. The main ROGS is Complemented by the annual Report on Government Services: Indigenous Compendium, also published for the Steering Committee for the Review of Government Service Provision.
