This will be the second issue of a compendium source book that brings together a wealth of housing data. This issue will contain discussion on a wide range of housing related topics including a time series on characteristics of owners, purchasers and renters; comparisons of changes in dwelling and population densities; characteristics of movers; families and housing issues; and financial issues. An appendix will contain detailed statistical tables. The second issue will focus on State comparisons and will complement the first issue of Housing Australia which included a detailed history of housing from colonial times to the nineties.
