Last days to get a Marriage Law Postal Survey The Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS) is urging Australians who haven’t received a survey form and want to participate in the Marriage Law Postal Survey to act immediately to obtain a form. ABS Deputy Statistician and Taskforce Lead, Jonathan Palmer, said the deadline of 20 October to get a form was fast approaching. “You don’t have much time. You must request a survey form by 6pm local time on Friday 20 October or you’ll miss out on the opportunity to have your say. “So if you haven’t received your survey form because it’s been lost, damaged or hasn’t arrived, you’ve only got today and tomorrow until 6pm to get one. “The quickest and easiest way to get a survey form is to use the ABS website’s online enquiry form. “You will be asked to supply personal information, such as a driver’s licence or Australian passport, so the ABS can verify your identity, send you a new survey form and invalidate any previous forms so only one response counts,” Mr Palmer said.
