CHANGES IN THIS ISSUE

This release will be discontinued after June 2010. Commodities collected thereafter will be incorporated into a new release titled Production of Selected Construction Materials (cat. no. 8301.0).

Following a review of the Manufacturing Production Collections, the Survey of Water Heating Equipment will be discontinued after June 2010. Surveys on the production of both Pre-Mixed Concrete and Plasterboard will continue to be collected on a monthly basis.


DATA NOTES

This publication presents monthly estimates of the manufacturing production for Pre-mixed concrete, Plasterboard and Water heaters in Australia.

More detailed breakdowns and other commodity items collected by the Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS) are available on request for a charge. Items for which additional production data are available are listed in paragraphs 7 to 11 of the Explanatory Notes.

Where figures have been rounded, discrepancies may occur between sums of the component items and totals.
