Presents and analyses costs incurred by Australian government and industry on environment protection measures. Using an OECD framework, provides estimates of the cost of pollution abatement and control (PAC) expenditures, as well as some non-PAC environmental expenditures in both the public and private sectors. Contains a selection of economic and general statistics on environment protection from the manufacturing, mining, agricultural, retail, wholesale and public sectors.
