INFORMATION ABOUT THIS RELEASE
This release presents consolidated 2012–13 budget forecasts for the general government sector for Commonwealth and all jurisdictions. After the release of the Queensland budget, this release includes forecasts for Queensland, Total State, Multi–jurisdictional, Total Local and Total Australia. The forecasts presented for the Commonwealth and other states are the same as when released on 28 August 2012. Government Financial Estimates (GFE) for the Commonwealth and state governments are compiled from initial budget forecasts. Two main statements are presented; the Operating Statement and the Cash Flow Statement.
Data for this release are sourced from the following Commonwealth and state government budget forecasts.
