Shows the statistical geography of Vic, based on the Australian Standard Geographical (ASGC), which was used for the collection, compilation and publication of ABS statistics (including the 1996 Census of Population and Housing) from 1 july 1996 to 30 June 1997. The publication also depicts through the use of maps the changes that have occurred to local government areas and othe ASGC spatial units in Vic since the 1991 Census of Population and Housing.
