ABOUT THIS RELEASE
Contains summary data on household break-ins, attempted break-ins and motor vehicle theft; and personal robberies, assaults and sexual assaults, in the 12 months prior to the survey. Provides information on the most recent incident including whether it was reported to the police and offender information. Data are classified by demographic characteristics. Includes some state and territory data and some limited comparisons with the 1993, 1995 and 1998 Crime and Safety Surveys.
It is expected that state level standard datasets will be available, where appropriate, for the tables included in 4509.0.
