The Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples (Indigenous) Profile (IP) DataPack consists of 16 tables containing key Census characteristics of Indigenous persons and households. Some tables provide comparisons with the non-Indigenous population. This third release includes the additional geography of Remoteness Area. There are no additional tables. The data are based on place of usual residence.

This IP DataPack contains 2011 Census data for numerous areas within the one package. The data are in CSV format. The DataPack also includes digital boundary map files and metadata/referencing information.

DataPacks do not include software.

DataPacks are designed:
- for people to use with database or analysis systems (e.g. SQL, GIS and other mapping or tabulation software)
- for people who want Community Profile data for numerous geographies.

The IP DataPack files can be downloaded from our website for free.
