CHANGES IN THIS ISSUE This is the first issue of Production of Selected Construction Materials (cat. no. 8301.0), providing estimates of the manufacturing production for Pre-mixed concrete and Plasterboard on a monthly basis, and estimates for the manufacturing production for Pre-mixed concrete, Plasterboard, Clay bricks for structural purposes, Clay bricks for other than structural purposes, Portland cement, Portland cement clinker, Terracotta and concrete roofing tiles, and Concrete brick, block and pavers on a quarterly basis. DATA NOTES This publication presents estimates at the national and state level. More detailed breakdowns collected by the Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS) may be available on request for a charge. Items for which additional production data are available are listed in paragraphs 8 and 9 of the Explanatory Notes. ROUNDING Where figures have been rounded, discrepancies may occur between sums of the component items and totals.
