ABOUT THIS RELEASE
The second national report on the health of children in Australia. It provides comprehensive information on the current and long-term status of children's health, and on the risk and protective factors influencing their health and wellbeing. The 2002 report builds on the previous report by examining in more detail the health status of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children and children living in metropolitan, rural and remote areas. It is an important reference for anyone interested in child health.
This publication is produced by the Australian Institute of Health and Welfare, with an agreement to sell copies through the ABS Bookshop.
