The datacube has been reissued as the coding of 'year of manufacture' groupings were transposed and there was a redundant footnote.
The changes made were the removal of a redundant footnote in tab 6 and the revision of '1989 and earlier' and '2000 and after' categories
of year of manufacture data in tabs 9, 10, 11, 12, 14 and 15.
ABOUT THIS DATACUBE
This EXCEL workbook (datacube) contains 26 tables presenting estimates from the Survey of Motor Vehicle Use (SMVU), Australia. The data for this cube were collected in four quarterly sample surveys conducted by the Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS) over the period 1 November 2004 to 31 October 2005. The tables contain statistics on passenger vehicle, motor cycle, truck and bus use for characteristics such as distance travelled, fuel consumption, year of manufacture and area of operation.
Data cubes from the Survey of Motor Vehicle Use (SMVU) covering vehicle type, state of registration, kilometres travelled, fuel consumption, type of fuel used, state/territory of operation, year of manufacture and details on freight carrying vehicles such as tonnes carried, tonne-kilometres, commodity carried and GVM/GCM.
