ANZSIC06 - Classifications, and Changes to Classifications between 1993 and 2006 editions

1. Statistical outputs from the annual industry survey program will be published from 2006-07 onwards on the Australian and New Zealand Standard Industry Classification (ANZSIC) 2006 basis. A direct link to the ABS website for the current classification publication is provided below.

2. Also website-linked is the publication Australian and New Zealand Standard Industrial Classification (ANZSIC), 2006 - Class Change Tables, 2006 (cat. no.1292.0.55.003). This publication provides information about ANZSIC 1993 activities which have moved, classes which have been split and actions taken in classifying these activities in the ANZSIC 2006 classification.

3. The class change tables show how each ANZSIC 1993 class was affected and record where ANZSIC 1993 primary activities are now classified in ANZSIC 2006.
