Wheat grain stored
  • Wheat grain stored by bulk grain handlers at the end of December 2011 was 24.6 million tonnes.
  • Wheat grain graded for milling comprised 69% (17.0 million tonnes) of the total wheat grain stored, with the remaining 31% (7.6 million tonnes) graded for feed.
  • The total wheat grain stored in December 2011 was 6.4 million tonnes (35%) more than the amount stored in December 2010.
