Livestock and meat production monthly trend movements for October 2015:
Cattle slaughter and meat production continued to slow in October 2015.
Calf slaughter and meat production continued to ease in October 2015 reflecting the seasonal nature of this sector of the industry.
Sheep slaughter has continued to increase in October 2015 following recent low numbers in April 2015.
Lamb slaughter and meat production increased in October 2015.
Pig slaughter and meat production rose slightly in October 2015.
