FEBRUARY KEY POINTS TREND ESTIMATES
NOTES FORTHCOMING ISSUES
IMPACT OF NATURAL DISASTERS Due to the temporary suspension of data collection activities in a number of places declared official disaster areas, the Job Vacancies Survey response rate for Queensland is somewhat lower than usual. A response of 87% was achieved for Queensland, compared with a normal response of 95% or more. The February 2011 job vacancy estimates for Queensland are therefore of a slightly lower quality than normally released by the ABS. Estimates for other states have not been impacted and the impact on industry estimates for Australia is not significant.
