• In original terms, November 2013 imports on an international merchandise trade basis were $21,784m, a fall of $426m (2%) on the revised October 2013 merchandise imports of $22,210m.

• Preliminary analysis shows that goods debits (imports) on a balance of payments basis in original terms fell $574m (2%) between October and November 2013.
• In seasonally adjusted terms, goods debits fell $103m between October and November 2013 to $22,065m. Consumption goods fell $131m (2%) and non-monetary gold fell $42m (12%). Intermediate and other merchandise goods remain steady at $9,632m. Capital goods rose $70m (1%).

• Revisions have been made to the previous six months to incorporate the latest administrative data relating to international merchandise trade.
• The preliminary balance of payments debits estimates incorporate the latest available data.
