These electronic tables complement the information presented in the national hard copy report on the Population Characteristics of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Australians (Cat. no. 4713.0). Topics covered in the national report and sets of tables for each State/Territory include: the demographic and geographic distribution of the population and its growth in recent years; household composition; language and religion; education and IT use; work; income; and housing and transport. The national report also includes information on how to interpret census data on Indigenous people.
