CONCEPTUAL DOMAIN This domain encompasses the relationships which are fostered between people and how those relationships provide support to individuals. Family and community are often considered to be two separate spheres in which individuals exist and interact. In many Indigenous communities there are no clear distinctions between family and community. The framework is not about classifying or counting families, rather, it is about understanding the transactions and interactions within families that impact on wellbeing. The framework recognises the importance of linking families across multiple dwellings. ELEMENTS OF THE DOMAIN
