Data Cube Table 26 has been released in Supertable format.
This table is being released as part of the standard output from the Schools, Australia, 2006 National Schools Statistics Collection. This Supertable combines Tables 4 to Tables 48 of the individual EXCEL spreadsheets provided in the 5 years prior to 2006. All of those tables, and many other data views, can be produced/generated from this single Supertable. Similar Supertables, covering other aspects of the data from the National Collection, are expected to be released in the near future as they become available.
NOTES
ABOUT THIS PUBLICATION
The statistics in this publication relate to government and non-government schools, students and school staff, and were collected through the non-finance National Schools Statistics Collection (NSSC), which was established through the work of the Ministerial Council on Education, Employment, Training and Youth Affairs (MCEETYA). For more detailed information about the structure and scope of the NSSC refer to the Glossary.
A more extensive range of statistics on schools, students and staff will be available from Data Cubes in Excel spreadsheet format, at a later date, on the ABS web site at <http//www.abs.gov.au>.
USAGE
Because estimates have in some cases been rounded, discrepancies may occur between sums of the component items and totals.
CAUTION
Data for the 2006 school year contained in this publication are affected by the non-reporting of one Qld non-government school with an enrolment of approximately 600 students.
