CAUSES OF DEATH - NEW MIGRANT MATRIX (cat. no. 3303.0)
New data is now available on the leading causes of death by country of birth, in the latest issue of Causes of Death, Australia . Released on 18 March 2009, the Causes of death Migrant Data cube contains a series of spreadsheets on the leading causes of death and characteristics of death registration. Statistics are presented on the number of deaths for year of registration by country of birth, sex, selected age groups, and the cause of death is classified to the World Health Organisation's International Classification of Diseases (ICD).
The Migrant Data cube will be added to the Migrant Data Matrices (cat. no) in due course. In the meantime.the Data cube can be downloaded in electronic format (Microsoft Excel) from the link provided https://www.abs.gov.au/AUSSTATS/abs@.nsf/DetailsPage/3303.02007?OpenDocument#Data.
