Provides information about the movement of persons within Australia during the period 1 May 1972 to 30 April 1973. A similar survey was conducted in May 1972. Persons were classified as having moved if the address of their usual place of residence on 30 April 1973 was different from that on 1 May 1972 and both places were in Australia. No information was obtained about the number of different changes made between these dates.
