Basic Survey Design (BSD)
This course aims to provide a broad overview of all facets of survey development. Topics include developing survey objectives, advantages and disadvantages of various collection methodologies, questionnaire design, data processing, reporting of results and management of the design process.

ABS Datacubes in SuperTABLE
The ABS web site has large datasets that can be downloaded for free. This course will teach participants how to access these datasets in SuperTABLE format to create tables that meet their organisation's information needs. Through a combination of theoretical instruction and computer-based exercises, participants will learn how to use the free SuperTABLE software.

Length: Half day, 9:00 am to 12:30 pm
Fee: $300

Tablebuilder
TableBuilder is the last product to be released from the 2006 Census; and is a charged product, aimed at very experienced Census users with a detailed knowledge of Census concepts, classifications and geography. TableBuilder is an on-line tool which allows you to create your own custom tables of Census data. If you would like a TableBuilder demonstration before proceeding to purchase the product, please email <vic.client.services@abs.gov.au>, nominating which session you would like to attend, your name, organisation, contact phone number and email address.
