NUMBER OF LIVESTOCK EXPORTED

Live exports quarterly original movements for March 2015:

Exports of live cattle
Live cattle exports fell by 18%, to 247,000 head. Of the total cattle exported, 39% or 97,000 were exported to Indonesia and 38% or 94,000 to Viet Nam.

Exports of live sheep
Live sheep exports fell by 35%, to 393,000 head. Of the total sheep exported, 24% or 95,000 were exported to Qatar and 23% or 90,000 to the United Arab Emirates.
