Two excel data cubes and one supertable data cube containing estimated resident populations for Statistical Local Areas and Local Government Areas for all years from 1996 to 2006 will be added to the ABS website on 2 October 2007. The estimates will be preliminary for 2002 to 2006, based on the results of the 2006 Census of Population and Housing, and final for 1996 to 2001.
