Data on employment in culture in sport was published in Employment in Sport and Recreation, August 2011 (cat. no. 4148.0) and Employment in Culture, Australia, 2011 (cat. no. 6273.0). According to the 2011 Census of all people employed in the week prior to the 2011 Census, 3% of employed persons worked in a cultural occupation and 1% had their main job in a sport and physical recreation occupation.
