Cultural Statistics Roadshow NCCRS Contact Points About this release	Computer and Internet Activities More than 2.5 million children (95%) used a computer and almost 1.7 million children (64%) accessed the Internet during or outside school hours in the 12 months to April 2003. No significant difference in usage was evident between boys and girls. Usage of the Internet increased markedly with age, from 21% of children aged 5 years to 90% of children aged 14 years.
