This publication contains detailed guidelines, instructions and definitions to assist in the collection and reporting of National Early Childhood Education and Care data. It is based on the the Early Childhood Education and Care National Minimum Data Set, but provides additional operational information to assist data providers to deliver quality data. The Data Collection Guide is released annually and highlights changes to data standards and data collection templates from year to year for the National Early Childhood Education and Care Collection.
