SUMMARY COMMENTS

  • In the September quarter 2009, the seasonally adjusted estimate of the value of total building work done rose in states and territories other than Victoria and Western Australia. The largest rises were in Northern Territory (12.6%) and New South Wales (5.7%).
  • The original estimate of total building work done rose in states and territories except Western Australia (-1.7%). The largest rises were in the Northern Territory (17.5%), and Queensland (10.6%).
